The Theosophical Society in America invited the Dalai Lama to speak as part of the Theosophical Society’s annual conference. This program, which was given at the University of Illinois, was emceed by Bill Kurtis of WBBM-TV. The staging was conceived by and implemented under the direction of Jim Lasko of Redmoon Theater in collaboration with Chicago-land representatives of many of the world’s faith organizations.
